For Google Workspace Admins
Simple, automatic security for your whole team
New Harbor is a security platform that monitors security gaps across your organization's apps and accounts and surfaces them in one place so they're easy to track and act on. Once connected, it runs in the background — checking your settings, flagging issues, and keeping everything visible so nothing slips through.
What we actually do
Most security tools bury alerts across a dozen different places. New Harbor pulls everything into a single dashboard so you always know what needs attention. When something needs your attention, we tell you what's wrong and how to fix it.
Checks that your apps are configured securely
Flags anything that doesn't match best practices so you can fix it before it becomes a problem.
Flags inactive or misconfigured accounts
Spots accounts that are unused, missing MFA, or have excessive permissions.
Surfaces security issues with clear guidance on how to fix them
Plain-language explanations and step-by-step instructions so you always know what to do next.
Keeps your security documentation up to date
Your security policies stay current and audit-ready without extra effort from your team.
What we need access to — and why
Getting started requires connecting your Google Workspace account. This gives us access to information about your organization — things like user accounts, group memberships, device details, and security policies — so we can understand your security posture and flag anything that needs attention.
We focus on security-related settings and configurations, not your team's day-to-day communications or content.
Read-only by default
New Harbor requests read access to your Google Workspace directory, audit logs, and security settings. We use this to see who's in your organization, spot unusual activity, and check that sharing, login, and device policies follow best practices.
Going beyond Google Workspace
Once you connect Google Workspace, you can also connect other apps your team uses — like Slack, Zoom, and others. For apps where a direct connection is available, we check and flag issues in their security settings automatically. For apps where it isn't, our browser extension fills the gap — quietly checking settings in the background when a team member logs in.
Direct integrations
Connect apps like Slack, Zoom, and more. We check and flag issues in their security settings automatically.
Browser extension
For apps without a direct connection, our extension checks settings in the background when your team logs in.
Full visibility
Everything flows into one dashboard so you can see your security posture across all your apps at a glance.
